I’ve always been awed by this sonata.
Piano Sonata No. 14.
Its notes creating
A path I longed to walk.
I know it and those precious cords so well…
Never dreamed I’d see anything more beautiful.
Never dared to think that any sound could be as hauntingly sweet.
As sweet as Piano Sonata No. 14.
I was wrong.
There has never been a piece as stirring as the one we make.
There has never been anything more beautiful then our love combined.
Together, we traverse this plain.
Together, we dare do what I thought unfathomable,
Strike cords that transcend the patient fervor of Piano Sonata No. 14.

Amazing poem! Love your pieces about music. Never played much Beethoven, but your piece really took me back to when I played a lot of Chopin. I am listening to Beethoven’s Sonata No. 14 at the moment. Also, didn’t notice how fun the word “Sonata” is until now, so glad I encountered your blog. 🙂
