She had only wanted an escape from the day’s drudgery. Walking to the waters edge she allowed the wind to push her shawl from her shoulders, exposing her to the wilderness. The moisture-laden breezes felt good to her skin. She slipped into the shallows. Allowing the water to carry her aloft, her arms slowly moving in a circulator pattern. She cleared her mind, allowing it the often denied freedom to roam.
It watched her from below. Her silhouette clearly marked betwixt the Sun above and the clearness of the water. It waited, knowing the gentle flapping waves would soon put her within reach.
